BY FEEL Privacy Policy

Updated September 23, 2026. The Studio purchase sections apply to version 1.1.0 and later when available, including test builds. Version 1.0 has no in-app purchases or RevenueCat integration and does not transmit purchase data. Updating this policy does not announce store availability.

BY FEEL is a camera and photo-editing app. No BY FEEL account is required. Photos stay on your device. Studio uses Apple or Google Play for payment and RevenueCat for purchase verification and access management. We do not use advertising SDKs or track you across apps.

Camera and photos

Camera frames, captured photos, and images you choose through the system photo picker are processed on your device. BY FEEL does not send their content to a server or to other people.

After an authorized capture, BY FEEL saves the finished image to your system photo library. In version 1.1.0 and later, imported photos show a preview and save only when you choose Save Photo; Studio export requires active Studio access. Version 1.0 saves successfully processed imports automatically. On iOS, saving uses add-only photo-library permission. Android uses MediaStore without broad photo-library access. You can revoke camera or photo-add permission in device settings.

BY FEEL does not request microphone, contacts, location, or advertising-identifier access. Importing uses your system photo picker and grants access only to the image you select.

Local storage and deletion

Optional settings remember your selected Film and camera on this device. BY FEEL also keeps a private gallery of recent captured-photo previews, limited to 30 previews and 64 MiB. Older previews are removed as these limits are reached. This preview cache is excluded from iOS backup; Android app backup and device transfer are disabled.

Temporary source files and in-memory processing images are cleaned after processing. Android also cleans abandoned source-cache files on a later launch. Deleting BY FEEL removes its local settings and private previews. Photos already saved to your system photo library remain there until you delete them in Photos or your gallery app.

Your system photo-library backup, cloud synchronization, and sharing are controlled by your device settings and the services you select. These are separate from BY FEEL and follow those services’ privacy policies.

Support and this website

If you choose to email support, the information you send is used to respond to your request. Do not include private photos unless you want to share them with support. This support website is hosted on GitHub Pages; its hosting provider processes web requests under its own privacy policy. This website does not add analytics, advertising scripts, or cookies.

Studio purchases

Apple or Google Play processes payment. BY FEEL does not receive your card number. RevenueCat processes purchase receipts/tokens, product and transaction identifiers, subscription status, and a generated anonymous App user identifier. It uses this information to validate purchases, restore access, handle expiry/refunds, prevent fraud, and provide purchase reporting. Requests also contain technical app/store information such as app/SDK version and locale. Transmission uses encrypted connections.

We do not send camera frames or photos to RevenueCat, provide customer names/email addresses to its SDK, enable advertising integrations, or enable automatic device-identifier collection. Purchase reporting is distinct from tracking which photos you take or which Films you use; BY FEEL does not add such event analytics.

Deleting the app removes local data but does not cancel store subscriptions or automatically erase purchase records held by the stores or RevenueCat. To request deletion of purchase-related data managed for BY FEEL, email support@pikflyer.app. We may need a store order reference to identify the relevant record; do not send a password or card details. Store billing records and subscriptions remain subject to Apple/Google policies and applicable retention requirements.

Children

BY FEEL is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information through support, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.

Changes

If a future version changes how BY FEEL handles data, this policy and the store privacy disclosures will be updated before release.
